Cathrine M. Nyachionjeka is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe (IoDZ) spearheading promotion and development of corporate governance best practices in Zimbabwe. She is currently a Post Grad candidate for Corporate Governance. Farai is a seasoned business executive with over 20 years experience spanning Financial services, Fmcg, Agriculture, Media and Technology in local, regional and international markets. Farai has a wealth of leadership experience in both start-ups and established entities, He recently occupied the position of Group Head Strategy, Channel Development & Innovation for a Media House, he has held positions of Chief marketing Officer, Divisional Managing Director for business in the technology and fmcg sectors. He is the founder of Acuity group an entity with interests in Agriculture, Logistics and Technology where he is the Chief Resource Mobilisation Officer. Farai holds an Executive Masters in Administration (EMBA) from Africa University, BTech(Hons) in International Marketing from Chinhoyi University of Technology, Executive Development Program From ICAZ & Pathways, Digital Marketing Certificate from MAZ, Customer Experience Certificate MAZ, Strategic Sales Certificate from MAZ, Marketing Practitioner Status from MAZ & IMM and is in the final stages of an Executive Development program with Winfield Strategy & Innovation Institute focusing Strategy, Innovation and Transformation. Gilfern Moyo is part a cohort of 22 academic ambassadors who represented Zimbabwe in the prestigious British Chevening Scholarships in 2015. He is a double master who graduated with a taught Master of Business Administration-General management (Merit) from the University of Hull in England and a Master of Public Administration (Merit) from the University of Zimbabwe. He holds a Chartered Management Institute United Kingdom Level Seven Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership and a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Training from Arnhem University in the Netherlands.
Gilfern holds a B.Sc. Honors in Politics and Administration from the University of Zimbabwe and an IPMZ Diploma in People Management. Gilfern Moyo is currently Director Administration and Human Resources for the Zimbabwe National Roads Administration and was its Acting Chief Executive Officer in 2020 before the appointment of the substantive incumbent. Gilfern has held the positions of Group Human Resources Director, Group Human Resources and Administration Executive, Business Development Executive, and Manager Human Resources for several listed and non -listed entities in both the private and public sectors in a career spanning over 21 years.
Mr. Wellington Makamure is the Regional Chief Executive Officer for Liquid Intelligent Technologies (LIT) Central Africa. The countries under Southern African Region are Botswana, DRC, Angola, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe. He oversees and sits on several boards of the Group Companies in Southern Africa. He is directly responsible for the leadership, strategic and operations management of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zimbabwe.
He has served on several Boards and currently sits on the board of directors of LIT Zambia, LIT Botswana, ZOL Zimbabwe, University of Zimbabwe (Executive Council) and Air Force of Zimbabwe Charity Fund. He has been heavily involved in the planning, set up and build of the LIT network and business in Zimbabwe. He holds a B.Sc. degree and an MBA.He has worked for international big brand companies in telecommunications, consumer electronics and industrial electronics industries in both the UK and Africa since early 1980s.
He has held positions in the respective industries at both technical and senior executive levels. He has worked in senior executive positions in both public and private sectors. Mr. Wellington Makamure is a committed Christian and is imbued by Christian principles and values in all that he does. Contribution to Zimbabwe • Under his leadership LIT has built the largest local fibre network and continues to increase provision of broadband, voice and data in Zimbabwe. Additionally, LIT became the first Internet Access Provider to offer Cloud services to local businesses in Zimbabwe through the CSP agreement that LIT signed with global software giants Microsoft in 2017. • LIT through Mr Makamure’s stewardship has connected the major cities /towns on fibre within the shortest time than any other service. • Under Mr. Makamure’s leadership, LIT also became the first IAP to launch FTTH in 2013, which is currently the largest service provider. Powerhouse banker Emmah Mungoni is ZB Financial Holdings’ Chief Financial Officer. In this role she is responsible for leading the financial component of the group’s transformation, ensuring that its financial performance is aligned with the business strategy.A chartered accountant who began her career by serving her articles with Ernst and Young more than 20 years ago, Mungoni rose to the position of Audit Supervisor before making the tactical move into industry and commerce. Since then, she has found her unique passion in the banking sector, and has strengthened her aptitude in business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiation. When she is not scaling the leadership heights of the banking sector, Mungoni shares her gifts with the broader community in the philanthropy space.
She is the former Chairperson of the Kunashe Foundation. She also chairs the Audit and Governance Subcommittee of the National Executive Committee of the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC: 2019-2023) and the Finance Committee for the Green Building Council of Zimbabwe.

Simba Chinyemba is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK). He studied for a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Insurance and Risk Management (NUST) before switching to study for the actuarial fellowship exams in London while working for Deloitte (UK). He eventually became probably the first black Chief Actuary of a London Market Insurance Company when he was appointed Group Chief Actuary and Executive Director at IGI (UK). IGI is an international general insurance company with offices in London, Bermuda, Amman, Mailta, Dubai, Casablanca and Kuala Lumpur. It is listed on Nasdaq in the USA.
After some stints in North America and the Middle East, Simba was subsequently appointed Group CEO of Momentum, Metropolitan Holdings in East Africa, overseeing their portfolio in 6 countries. Momentum Metropolitan Holdings is a South African based financial services company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
In search of new challenges, Simba then ventured into the wider field and worked in Lagos, Nigeria for nearly 3 years at Zenith. Fulfilling his desire to return home, he was asked to come and lead the transaction that created the largest mining group in Zimbabwe.
